I'm Katja, a Hamilton, ON based photographer who believes in the importance of capturing all of life's beautiful moments. From baby photos, candid family moments, and portraits, to dance performances and travel/nature photography I've been behind the camera for 10 years. I capture relaxed, natural images of authentic moments of your family and loved ones throughout Hamilton, Brantford, Ancaster, Dundas, and the surrounding areas. My goal is to create timeless images that feel like memories- documenting quiet connections, laughter and the in-between moments that matter the most.
My Photography Style
I love capturing growing families, engagements, couples events and more! My favourite photos are always the real, candid moments, and I aim to have my clients feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. You don't have to worry about your family looking picture-perfect in front of the camera- I love to create beautiful photos that capture your family members interacting organically with each other, and photos that feel like YOU. I will typically do a mix of posed and more natural portraits, and I love working with you to make sure the photos look the way you envisioned! When I'm not taking your photos I'm working as a NICU nurse taking care of the teeniest babies, taking ballet classes, baking, traveling, or spending time with my loved ones. You can also find me trying new cocktails and restaurants in my city!
